All thesis and dissertation students should follow the updated formatting guidelines.
Spring 2026 students who are completing revisions from the Graduate Reader may consult

Traditional Format
This sample follows the traditional five-chapter format of a dissertation.
MultiArticle Format
For students including published or submitted journal articles as individual chapters have the option to use the Multi-Article Format.
Creative Works Format
Creative works encompass the likes of short story collections, musical scores, poetry collections, novels, and other works in which the creative component comprises the majority of the project.
LaTeX
Students using LaTeX to prepare their documents can use the style files in this ZIP file.
The current LaTeX files do not ensure full accessibility within the final PDF. While
further guidelines are prepared, students are encouraged to use the following resources
